Tera joined the District staff in 1999, and after two years as Assistant Administrator, she assumed her current role in December, 2000. She previously was employed as a consultant to the Wild Rice Watershed District, Environmental Coordinator of Mahnomen County, and in the sales and marketing department of XOX Corporation. She holds a degree in geology, and has post-graduate training in hydrology, limnology, and management. She was raised in Mahnomen County.

Brent joined the District staff in September of 2014. He studied Biology at the University of MN Duluth while working with both the Large Lakes Observatory and the MN DNR. He then relocated to Bellingham, WA were he worked with the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association researching Salmon spawn habits in the tributaries to the Nooksack river. His love for Minnesota brought him back (along with a job offer from the MN DNR) in 2012 followed by the opportunity here in Detroit Lakes with the PRWD.

Brenda is originally from Wahpeton, ND and attended NDSCS studying office management. She joined the PRWD staff in Feb. 2013 shortly after relocating to Detroit Lakes with her husband. She has worked for Case Tractor in Fargo, ND, West Central Steel in Willmar, MN, The City of Jackson and HitchDoc Manufacturing in Jackson, MN. She has experience in Customer Sales, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.

Dick served as Administrator from 1993 to 2000. He previously was Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at Oklahoma State University where he specialized in water resources planning. He has been a life-long visitor to the Detroit Lakes area and a resident since 1993. He was present for PRWD's first Board of Managers meeting in June, 1966.
