Bluff/Bluff Impact Zone and Steep Slope Alteration

Project that alter vegetation and/or land are required to demonstrate the the project will not increase stormwater runoff or erosion.  Permits for vegetation removal is only allowed in unique cases such as a creation of view the lake, removal of dead or diseased trees, or invasive vegetation.  PRWD staff will conduct a site visit to observe slope stability and project feasilbity.  In many cases, an Engineer Analysis may be required to review any potential impacts.
