NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW) AVAILABILITY AND COMMENT PERIOD
FOR THE CAMPBELL CREEK STABILIZATION AND FLOOD STORAGE PROJECT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Pelican River Watershed District intends to conduct rehabilitation activities within portions of Campbell Creek between Campbell Lake and Floyd Lake in Becker County, MN. The main design elements would include rock arch rapids, bank grading, conifer revetments, grade control structures, riprap toe, and culvert replacement.
In accordance with Minnesota Rules 4410.1000, Subpart 3, an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for this development has been prepared for public review and comment.
The required 30-day EAW public comment period will begin on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and will conclude at 4:30 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025. A hard copy of the EAW is available for public viewing in the office of the Pelican River Watershed District located at 211 Holmes Street West, Wells-Fargo Bldg. – Suite 201, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501. The EAW can also be viewed online on the District’s website at:
